Julia Migenes to Perform Diva on the Verge at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts

Soprano Julia Migenes will perform her one-woman show Diva on the Verge at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College, on April 26, at 2 pm.

The show will include Migenes’ renditions of some of the world’s best-known arias, as well as anecdotes about the rigid world of opera.

Migenes has starred on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof and West Side Story, and is well known for her opera work. She has recorded more than 20 albums, ranging in style from opera to sacred music, Broadway, and jazz.
