Jason Butler Harner, Michael Stuhlbarg Set for CSC’s The Proust Project

Classic Stage Company will present The Proust Project, a new adaptation series featuring a set of staged readings based on Marcel Proust’s Remembrance of Things Past, on Monday nights beginning March 23.

The series will kick off with Swann In Love (March 23), by Pamela Hansford Johnson, directed by Tony Speciale, and featuring Michael Stuhlbarg as Swann and Jason Butler Harner as Marcel. Albertine Regained (March 30), by Pamela Hansford Johnson, directed by Michael Sexton, will feature Stuhlbarg as Marcel. Waste of Time (April 6), by Robert McDonald, will be directed by Brian Kulick, with casting to be announced. Stuhlbarg will once again play Swann on April 13, in a reprise of Swann In Love, to be directed by Brian Kulick.

All readings will be followed by a post-performance symposium with a Proust scholar.
