God of Carnage Cancels March 11 Matinee; James Gandolfini on Vocal Rest

The Wednesday, March 11 matinee performance of Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage, currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, has been canceled.

According to a production spokesperson, actor James Gandolfini’s doctor wants him to rest his voice. Tonight’s 8 pm performance will go on as planned.

The play, about a schoolyard dispute and its aftermath, also stars Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, and Marcia Gay Harden. Matthew Warchus directs.
