Danny Hoch, Laurie Metcalf, Pamela Reed, Roger Rees, Nilaja Sun Among SFBATCC Nominees

Nominations for the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards have been announced. Winners are expected to be named later this month, and a gala cocktail party ceremony will take place on May 4.
The group gives out awards in over 30 categories, encompassing both plays and musicals, and includes everything from under 99-seat houses to major area theaters such as A.C.T., Berkeley Rep, San Jose Rep, and TheatreWorks.
Among the many acting nominees are Beth Glover (Grey Gardens), Danny Hoch (Taking Over), Laurie Metcalf (Quality of Life), Mark Nadler (Russian on the Side), Pamela Reed (Curse of the Starving Class), Roger Rees (What You Will), Ken Ruta (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), Dominique Serrand (Figaro), Dale Soules (Grey Gardens), and Nilaja Sun (No Child).
Special awards will also be given this year to producer Robert Cole, actor Dan Hiatt, publicist Charles Zukow, and Debbie Chin, executive director of California Shakespeare Theatre.
