Bradley Dean, Ramona Mallory, Jonathan Schwartz, Douglas Ullman, Jr. Join Off-Broadway’s Fantasticks March 30

The Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks, currently playing the Snapple Theater Center, will welcome four new cast members beginning March 30.

The Harvey Schmidt-Tom Jones musical is a simple romantic comedy about a boy and girl who fall in and out of love at the hands of their meddling fathers.

Bradley Dean, who will play El Gallo, has appeared on Broadway in Spamalot, Company, Man of La Mancha, and Jane Eyre. Ramona Mallory, who will play Luisa, appeared in the national tours of Captain Louie and The Music Man. Jonathan Schwartz, who will play Matt, is a former winner of the WOR Radio Shining Star competition, with regional credits including leading roles in Buddy Holly Story, Joseph…Dreamcoat, and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Douglas Ullman, Jr., who will portray The Mute, originated the role in the current revival and also previously played Matt.

The company also includes Tom Flagg, Gene Jones, Michael Nostrand, Evy Ortiz, Steve Routman, John Thomas Waite, and Scott Willis.
