Urban Stages has announced the March line-up for its new play reading series, to be presented March 12-26. Each reading will be followed by a Q&A with the playwright and cast.

The readings will include ReEntry (March 12), written and directed KJ Sanchez, about the lives of Marines returning from Iraq and Afghanistan; Wonderful Counselor (March 17) by Kathyn Grant, directed by Ed Setrakian, about a public defender and a woman accused of killing her baby; and An Accident (March 19) by Lydia Stryk, directed by Roger Danforth, and starring Austin Pendleton and Amy Warren. The piece looks at the unexpected life altering encounter between two people involved in a traffic accident.

Also part of the series will be This Way to Your Ritual Lobotomy (March 24) by Guillermo Reyes, and starring Felix Pire in a sci-fi solo play that travels 3000 years into the future, and Jackson Heights (March 26), by Jade Wu, in which multicultural generations deal with changes in their neighborhood while battling the changes in their personal lives.

Readings are free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.urbanstages.org.
