Kim Stengel to Become Phantom‘s Carlotta on March 27

Kim Stengel will join the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera as Carlotta for an eight-week run on Thursday, March 27. She replaces Patricia Phillips, who will return on May 19.

Stengel has played the role of Carlotta over 4,500 times in various productions of Phantom. Her other credits include Carousel, Kismet, The Most Happy Fella, and The Sound of Music.

The show stars Howard McGillin (The Phantom), Jennifer Hope Wills (Christine), Tim Martin Gleason (Raoul), George Lee Andrews (Monsieur Andre), David Cryer (Monsieur Firmin), Rebecca Judd (Madame Giry), David Gaschen (Piangi), Heather McFadden (Meg Giry), and Elizabeth Loycano (Christine alternate).
