Foster, Hill, Lazar, et al. Set for New York Pops’ Hammerstein Concert

Sutton Foster, Rosena Hill, Aaron Lazar, and the Clurman Singers will join conductor David Charles Abell for the New York Pops’ concert, Oscar Hammerstein II: The Song Is You, at 8pm on Friday, April 4 at Carnegie Hall.

The concert will feature music from such shows as Show Boat, Sunny, The New Moon, Carmen Jones, Very Warm for May, The Desert Song, South Pacific, Oklahoma!, Carousel, The King and I, and The Sound of Music, among others.

The Pops will return to Carnegie Hall at 7pm on Monday, April 28 for their 25th Birthday Gala, to be hosted by Liz Smith and Denis Leary. Special guests will include Larry Gatlin, Andrea McArdle, Kelli O’Hara, Haley Swindal, Ronan Tynan, and Steve Tyrell.
