Clark, Young to Announce Outer Critics Circle Nominees on April 23

The Outer Critics Circle will announce the nominees for its 57th annual awards at 11am on Monday, April 23 at the Algonquin Hotel. The winners will be announced on Monday, May 14, with a formal ceremony to be held at Sardi’s on Thursday, May 24.

The announcement will be made by actors Victoria Clark and John Lloyd Young. Clark received the Outer Critics Award, as well as the Tony Award, for her performance as Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza; Young won the Outer Critics and Tony Awards for his performance as Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys.

The Outer Critics Circle is comprised of journalists affiliated with more than 90 newspapers, magazines, web sites, radio stations, television stations in America and abroad. Nominations will be made in 23 categories, and both Broadway and Off-Broadway shows will be included.
