Michael Cerveris Will Perform in Weimar New York

Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris will appear in Weimar New York, a late-night cabaret that will juxtapose Weimar-era musical material with performances by some of today’s hottest Downtown artists. The show will take place on Monday, March 27 from 11pm to 4am at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street).
The evening, to be hosted by Sherry Vine and Desiree Busch, will feature such other performers as Theo Kogan, Taylor Mac, Rachelle Garniez, Adam Dugas, Helen Stratford, Theo Bleckmann, Daniel Isengart, Vaginal Davis, Julie Atlas Muz, and Jonathan Bastiani.
Cerveris is currently starring in the title role of Sweeney Todd on Broadway. He won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance in Assassins and received a Tony nomination for The Who’s Tommy. His other stage credits include Passion, Titanic, and Wintertime.
