Christiane Noll, Gabriel Barre, Glenn Seven Allen, Evalyn Baron, and Joseph Kolinski will star in the York Theatre Company’s production of the new musical A Fine & Private Place, April 13-May 21. The production, which will also be directed by Barre, will open officially on April 27.

The musical features book and lyrics by Erik Haagansen, based on the novel by Peter Beagle, and music by Richard Isen. The show’s creative team includes James Morgan (set design), Pamela Scofield (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design) and Eric McMiller (sound design).

Noll has starred on Broadway in It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues and Jekyll & Hyde. Barre received a Tony Award nomination for his starring role in Starmites, and his directing credits include Almost Maine and The Wild Party. Allen is currently an ensemble member of The Light in the Piazza. Baron received a Tony nomination for Quilters. Kolinski has been seen on Broadway in Brigadoon and Titanic.
