Liz McCartney, who starred on Broadway in Mamma Mia! and Taboo and the recent Off-Broadway musical Bingo, will be among the performers in We Miss Nancy: The Storerfront Sings LaMott, which will be performed at The Duplex on Mondays, March 20 and 27 at 7pm.

The revue, which was just nominated for a MAC Award, salutes the music recorded by the late Nancy LaMott, the beloved cabaret singer who passed away in 1995. Other performers in the show include Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Scott Coulter, Lina Koutrakos, Carolyn Montgomery, Julie Reyburn, Ruby Rims, Ricky Ritzel, and Marty Thomas.

Among the songs to be presented are “Listen to My Heart,” (to be sung by McCartney), “Help is on the Way,” “I’ll Be Here WIth You,” and “We Live on Borrowed Time,” all of which were written by David Friedman. The composer will be on hand to sing his composition, “Trust the Wind.”
