Eric McCormack, who plays Will on TV’s Will & Grace, and Maura Tierney, who plays Nurse Abby Lockhart on E.R., will star in the MCC Theater production of Neil LaBute’s Some Girl(s). Directed by Jo Bonney, the show will play the Lucille Lortel Theater from May 17 through June 24 and will open officially on June 8. No other casting has been announced.

The play is set in four different hotel rooms in four different cities, as Sam (to be played by McCormack), a soon-to-be-engaged man, pays a last visit to four ex-girlfriends — one of whom, Bobbi, will be played by Tierney. Some Girls was previously produced in London. LaBute’s other plays include The Shape of Things, Fat Pig, and This Is How It Goes.

The creative team for Some Girls includes Neil Patel (set design), Mimi O’Donnell (costume design), David Weiner (lighting design), and Rob Kaplowitz (sound design). Bonney has directed such plays as Fat Pig, The Seven, and A Soldier’s Play.

McCormack was seen on Broadway as Harold Hill in The Music Man. For his role in Will & Grace, he won an Emmy Award for Best Leading Actor in a Comedy Series. Tierney has appeared on stage in productions of The Bald Soprano and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea. Her film credits include Primary Colors, Primal Fear, and Insomnia. She also starred on the hit TV series NEWSRADIO.
