Tony Award winners Fritz Weaver and Michele Pawk will headline The Shaw Project‘s reading of George Bernard Shaw’s Heartbreak House, to be held at 7pm on Monday, March 20 at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South). The show will also star Lynn Cohen, George Dvorsky, Jack Gilpin, Simon Jones, Malachy McCourt, Charlotte Moore, and Laura Odeh.

Heartbreak House is set in 1914 on an English estate, and concerns the various romantic goings-on of its guest and inhabitants. It has been seen four times on Broadway — most recently in 1984 — and the Roundabout Theatre Company has already announced plans for another revival next season.

Weaver, who will play Captain Shotover, won the Tony Award for Child’s Play. His many Broadway credits include Baker Street, The Price, and Angels Fall; he was most recently seen Off-Broadway in Trying. Pawk, who will play Hesione, won the Tony Award for Hollywood Arms. Her other Broadway credits include Cabaret and Mamma Mia!
