Mario Cantone, Diana DeGarmo, and Eden Espinosa will join previously anounced stars Michael Cerveris, Brian d’Arcy James, Ana Gasteyer, Deborah Gibson, and Matthew Morrison in Miscast, the annual Spring Gala Benefit for MCC Theater, which will take place at 6:30pm on Monday, March 13 at the Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street).

This star-studded musical revue features some of Broadway’s biggest names singing show tunes in roles they would never get to perform. Musical direction will be by Phil Reno.

The evening will also honor theater producer Carole Shorenstein Hays. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will help fund MCC’s Playwright’s Coalition for new and emerging writers and its Education & Community Outreach program, which brings theater to nearly 1,000 NYC high school students each year.

Cantone has starred on Broadway in his solo show Laugh Whore and Love! Valour! Compassion!. DeGarmo came to fame on the TV series American Idol and is now appearing as Penny Pingleton in the Broadway production of Hairspray. Espinosa is currently starring on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked and played the title role in Brooklyn The Musical

Tickets range from $350-$2,500. For reservations, please call 212-727-7722.
