Billy Connolly Live! to Play 37 Arts

Billy Connolly, the popular Scottish-born comedian, will come to New York in Billy Connolly Live!. Presented by Westbeth Entertainment, the show will play at 37 Arts from May 9-June 3 and will open officially on May 11.

In addition to his stand-up comedy and recording work, Connolly is known for the TV sitcom Head of the Class, in which he starred for one season as teacher Billy MacGregor.

The many films in which he has appeared include the award-winning Mrs. Brown (with Dame Judi Dench), Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Last Samurai, and The Aristocrats. Connolly will be seen later this year in the films Fido and Garfield 2.
