Allen, Durang, Ebersole, Gaines, et. al Set for Playwrights Horizons’ High Standards Benefit

Joan Allen, Stephen Bogardus, Brian d’Arcy James, Christine Ebersole, Boyd Gaines, Sara Gettelfinger, and Michael Rupert will appear at Playwrights Horizons’ High Standards Gala Benefit, which will take place at 6:30pm on Monday, April 3 at Gotham Hall (1356 Broadway). Christopher Durang will host the benefit, which will honor Suzanne F. Roberts, host of TV’s Emmy Award-winning cable program, Seeking Solutions with Suzanne.
The evening will also feature performances by Eamon Foley, Alison Fraser, Annie Golden, and Brandon Sean Wardell. Ebersole will perform a selection from Playwrights Horizons’ current hit Grey Gardens, while the rest of the cast will perform scenes and numbers from such previous Playwrights shows as The Heidi Chronicles, Sunday in the Park with George, Assassins, Floyd Collins, and March of the Falsettos.
