Alison Pill to Replace Kerry Condon in Lieutenant of Inishmore

Alison Pill will replace Kerry Condon as Mairead in the Atlantic Theater Company’s production of Martin McDonagh’s The Lieutenant of Inishmore on Tuesday, April 4.

Pill will stay with the production through the end of the Atlantic run on April 9 and will then move to Broadway with the rest of the company. The play is set to begin performances at the Lyceum on April 19 and to officially open there on May 3. Condon is leaving the production on April 2 to film the HBO series Rome, in which she plays Octavia of the Julii.

Pill was part of the Drama Desk Award-winning ensemble of The Distance from Here. She has also been seen Off-Broadway in On the Mountain and None of the Above. Her film work includes Pieces of April and Dear Wendy.

The Lieutenant of Inishmore is directed by Wilson Milam and also stars Jeff Binder, Andrew Connolly, Dashiell Eaves, Peter Gerety, Domhnall Gleeson, Brian d’Arcy James, and David Wilmot.
