Abraham, Albee, Crudup, Hwang, Ivey, et al. Set for Cherry Lane Gala

Playwrights Edward Albee and David Henry Hwang, lawyer John F. Breglio, and New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn will be honored at the Cherry Lane Theatre’s annual gala, to be held 6pm on Monday, April 3 at the newly renovated theater (38 Commerce Street).

The evening will be hosted by Judith Ivey, and feature special performances and appearances — including scenes from The Pirates of Penzance and Dutchman — by such celebrities as F. Murray Abraham, Amiri Baraka, Robby Benson, Billy Crudup, Karla DeVito, and Dule Hill.
