Gasteyer, Hoffman, Vilanch, et al. Miscast in MCC Benefit

MCC Theater will present as its 2005 spring gala benefit Miscast, a revue in which noted performers will sing songs representative of musical theater roles that they would never play, on Monday, March 14 at Roseland (239 West 52nd Street).
The event will honor Gerald Schoenfeld, chairman of The Shubert Organization. It will include performances by Ana Gasteyer, Jackie Hoffman, Andrea Martin, Steven Pasquale, Bruce Vilanch, and Tom Wopat. Scott Wittman, the co-lyricist of Hairspray, will direct. Miscast will begin with cocktails at 6:30pm, followed by dinner and the presentation of an award to Schoenfeld at 7:30pm, in turn followed by dessert and the performance at 9pm.
