Lemenager and Racey Join the Cast of The Broadway Musicals of 1935

Nancy Lemenager and Noah Racey, late of the Broadway musical Never Gonna Dance, have just been added to the cast of The Broadway Musicals of 1935. Part of the “Broadway by the Year” series, the concert will be presented at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street) on Monday, March 15 at 8pm.

The pair will join previously announced stars Douglas Sills, Emily Skinner, Karen Akers, Barbara Walsh, Chuck Cooper, Gretha Boston, Darius de Haas, Laurie Williamson, Todd Murray, and Lumiri Tubo in a celebration of musicals that opened on Broadway in 1935, including such shows as Porgy and Bess, Jubilee, Jumbo, and May Wine. Among the famous songs to be performed in the concert are “Begin the Beguine,” “My Romance,” and “Little Girl Blue.”
