Tony Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman has been announced to return to host the 68th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 8. The event will be broadcast live from 8pm-11pm EDT on CBS Television Network.

This will be Jackman's fourth time hosting the Tony Awards. He previously hosted the 57th, 58th (for which he won an Emmy), and 59th Annual Tony Awards in 2003, 2004, and 2005. The last three Tony Awards, as well as the 2009 awards, were hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, who is returning to Broadway this year and will be eligible for Tony nominations himself for taking on the title role of the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Jackman is perhaps best known for playing the role of Wolverine in the X-Men films. His Broadway credits include The Boy From Oz, for which he won a Tony, and A Steady Rain. He returned to Broadway for his one-man show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway in 2011.

The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
