So You Think You Can Dance's Cole Horibe Talks About Playing Bruce Lee in Signature Theatre's Kung Fu
In this new video from Signature Theatre, So You Think You Can Dance performer Cole Horibe talks about his path from martial arts, to dance, to acting, and eventually to his New York stage premiere in David Henry Hwang's Kung Fu. Horibe portrays famed martial artist Bruce Lee in a play that examines the challenges Lee faced "being a father…a martial arts teacher, an actor, and as a person."
Kung Fu will begin performances on February 4, with an official opening on February 24, and run through March 30 on The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center. Leigh Silverman directs the production, which features choreography by Sonya Tayeh.
