Off-Broadway's York Theatre Announces Casting for Inventing Mary Martin Musical

The new production celebrates the life and work of the Tony-winning Broadway legend.

Stage veterans Cameron Adams (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Lynne Halliday (The Rothschilds), Jason Graae (Falsettos), and Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Billy Elliot) will star in the York Theatre Company's upcoming production of Stephen Cole's Inventing Mary Martin. Conceived, written, and directed by Cole (with codirection and choreography by Bob Richard), the musical will begin performances April 15, with opening night set for April 27.

A new-multimedia review celebrating the life of three-time Tony winner Mary Martin, the veteran of Broadway's South Pacific, The Sound of Music, and Peter Pan, Inventing Mary Martin features songs by Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein, Vernon Duke & Howard Dietz, Kurt Weill & Ogden Nash, Noёl Coward, Irving Berlin, Jule Styne & Carolyn Leigh, Howard Dietz & Arthur Schwartz, and Tom Jones & Harvey Schmidt, among others. David Krane serves as musical supervisor and arranger, with Lawrence Goldberg as musical director.

Also featured on the creative team are James Morgan (set), Patricia McGourty (costumes), Mary Jo Dondlinger (lights), Janie Bullard (sound), Justin West (projections), and James Maloof (props).
