Broadway favorite Idina Menzel, who returns to the Great White Way this spring in the musical If/Then, will take the stage at the Oscars to perform the song "Let It Go" from Disney's new animated hit Frozen, according to several sources.

"Let It Go" is one of several songs nominated for this year's Best Original Song award. Idina starred in Frozen as Elsa, a powerful but conflicted young woman. Frozen itself is also nominated for Best Animated Feature.

Idina Menzel won a Tony Award for her role as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked. Her other Broadway credits include Rent and Aida. She also starred in the role of Maureen Johnson in the 2005 film adaptation of Rent.

On January 13, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Frozen, which stars a host of other Broadway favorites including Santino Fontana, will make a move to Broadway in the future.
