The Public Theater and British Council will present an "Artists Exchange" event on March 8 featuring MacArthur Fellow Tarell Alvin McCraney and CenterStage's Kwame Kwei-Armah. The two directors will share stories about creating theater on both sides of the pond.

HowlRound will live-stream the event in partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company, GableStage in Miami, and CenterStage in Baltimore. Viewers will be able to participate in the dialogue by sending their comments and questions via Twitter using the hashtag #artistsexchange. The live-stream can be viewed here: http://howlround.tv.

Tarell Alvin McCraney is directing The Public, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and GableStage's new coproduction of Antony and Cleopatra, which began previews at The Public's Anspacher Theater on February 18 and runs through March 23, with an official press opening on March 5. This unique company comprises five actors from each country.

Antony and Cleopatra's U.S. cast features Charise Castro Smith, Joaquina Kalukango, Ian Lassiter, Chivas Michael, and Henry Stram. The U.K. cast features Jonathan Cake, Samuel Collings, Ash Hunter, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Sarah Niles.

Tickets to the discussion at Joe's Pub are free and can be reserved online at www.publictheater.org.
