Complete details have been announced for Playwrights Horizons' upcoming world premiere of Kirk Lynn's Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra. Anne Kauffman (Detroit) will direct the production, which will begin previews March 28 and open April 21. The limited engagement will play through May 11 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

The show's cast will feature Maxx Brawer (Don't Go Gentle), Zoë Sophia Garcia (La Ruta), Rebecca Henderson (The Whale), Will Pullen (Marie Antoinette), Chris Stack (Marie Antoinette), and Sarah Sutherland (Beneath the Harvest Sky).

The plot follows Carla (Garcia), who agrees to marry Reggie (Stack) on one condition: To break down any walls between them, they'll reenact their individual sexual histories with one another, good and bad, for better or worse. The stories bring unexpected hope years later when the household is forced to confront those barriers a second time.

The production features scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Tony Award winner Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Ben Stanton, and sound design by Daniel Kluger.
