Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the full cast of the upcoming Broadway production of Violet. The Jeanine Tesori and Brian Crawley musical will begin performances at the American Airlines Theatre on March 28 and open on April 20.

As previously announced, the musical stars two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Violet) and her Anything Goes costar Colin Donnell (Monty). The newly announced full cast also features Alexander Gemignani (Father) and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (Flick), and will feature Ben Davis (Preacher), Annie Golden (Hotel Singer/Old Lady), Emerson Steele (Young Violet), and Austin Lesch, with Anastasia McCleskey, Charlie Pollock, Jacob Keith Watson, Rema Webb, and Virginia Ann Woodruff.

Leigh Silverman directs this musical, inspired by Doris Betts' short story The Ugliest Pilgrim. The show follows a woman, whose face was disfigured in a childhood accident, as she travels on a bus to an Oklahoma-based televangelist.

The creative team includes Jeffrey Page (choreography), Joseph Joubert and Buryl Red (original orchestrations), Michael Rafter (musical direction), David Zinn (scenic design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Mark Barton (lighting design), and Leon Rotherberg (sound design).

The production is based on this past summer's New York City Center Encores! Off-Center concert version of the musical. Donnell's role was played in the Encores! production by Van Hughes.
