Ghostlight Records has announced that the original Broadway cast recording of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the new musical now running at the Walter Kerr Theatre, will be released digitally on February 25 and will be available in stores April 1.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, featuring music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak and a book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman, tells the story of Monty Navarro, who has received the news that he is descended from a noble family and could become the next Earl of Highhurst. There are only eight issues standing in his way: the other heirs who precede him in line for the title. What does Monty choose to do? Eliminate them, of course.

The musical stars Bryce Pinkham as the ladder-climbing Navarro and Tony winner Jefferson Mays as all eight of the heirs who stand in his way. The cast also includes Lisa O'Hare, Lauren Worsham, Pamela Bob, Joanna Glushak, Eddie Korbich, Jeff Kready, Mark Ledbetter, Jennifer Smith, Price Waldman, Catherine Walker, and Jane Carr.

The cast recording will feature orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick and vocal arrangements by Dianne Adams McDowell and Steven Lutvak. Paul Staroba serves as music director.
