Fans who had hoped to catch Tony’s favorite actress in a musical, Sutton Foster, this past weekend were disappointed: The Thoroughly Modern Millie star was under the weather and out of the spotlight, taking Saturday and Sunday’s performances off to rest up.

Foster will be back in flapper dress as of tomorrow (Tuesday, June 25), says a publicist for the 1920s-style tuner, and the illness was in no way serious: “She was just sick.” The understudy for Millie is Catherine Brunell, like Foster a former Eponine from Les Misérables.

In other Foster news, the charming brunette’s “a-star-is-born” saga is featured in this week’s Entertainment Weekly. There she is in a photo with brother Hunter, a star of Urinetown, as part of EW’s ish on “it” people: the Foster children have been cited as “It Siblings”. Elsewhere on the list you’ll find Oklahoma! star Patrick Wilson; playwrights Dael Orlandersmith, Kia Corthron, and Oni Faida Lampley; and Producers success story Brad Oscar (“It Understudy”).
