Irish Repertory Theatre has announced that retired professional boxer John Duddy (Kid Shamrock), Laoisa Sexton (Gaslight), Jo Kinsella (Dancing at Lughnasa), and Georgina McKevitt (Waiting for Ikea) will star in the upcoming production of Sexton’s For Love, playing March 19-April 5, with previews beginning March 13. Off-Broadway’s Tim Ruddy (After Luke and When I Was God) will direct.

For Love is described as a romp through the urban sexual experiences of three women in modern-day central Dublin. It had its world premiere last September in the first Irish Theatre Festival as part of its Next Generation Play Series and was named “Pick of the Festival” by Irish Examiner.

The production features costume design by Elizabeth Kirby and lighting design by Michael O’Connor.

Sexton, whose first play was For Love, is also the author of Bridget and The Last Days of Cleopatra.
