The Flea Theater to Present Dance Conversations 2012

The Flea Theater is set to present Dance Conversations 2012, March 14-25.

Dance Conversations will showcase films and works-in-progress by emerging and established choreographers, dance companies, and filmmakers. Following each showing or performance will be forums between the artists and audience.

The artists set for Dance Conversations 2012 include Katie Balton Dance, Daniela Hoff Dance Company, Movement of the People Dance Company, Vangeline, David Appel, Beau Hancock, A.H. Dance Company, and Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, among many others.

The festival’s films will include Life In Security by Keith Johnson & Gregory R.R. Crosby, Emergences by Shantala Pèpe, Surgeon General’s Warning by Natalie Metzger, Brothers Keeper by Marta Renzi, Tree by Pyeunghun Baik, Nobody’s Darling by Marta Renzi, and Seven Fruits by Pyeunghun Baik.
