Sally Struthers to Star in Alhambra’s Hello, Dolly!
Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers will star in the Jacksonville, Florida-based The Alhambra Theatre’s production of Hello, Dolly!, to run February 29- April 8.
The musical, featuring a classic Jerry Herman score, centers on Dolly Levi, a brassy widow with a knack for matchmaking. She takes a trip to New York to meet a millionaire, Mr. Vandergelder whom has been courting another woman. She fixes up his store clerks with the woman he had been courting with hopes of making a match with Mr. Vandergelder herself.
Struthers is a two-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner for her performances in All in the Family. Her many stage credits include Annie, Nunsense, The Odd Couple, Grease, Anything Goes, The Full Monty, Fiddler on the Roof, Mame, Cinderella, and Always, Patsy Cline.
