Moya Angela, Derrick Baskin, Dionne D. Figgins, Candice Monet McCall, Marcos Santana, TAHARQA, and Daniel J. Watts will perform in D. Watts’ Spoken Word Preserves: The Jam at the Clark Studio Theatre on Monday, February 13 at 8pm.
According to press notes, this “play on words” jam session “takes you on a ride from your grandmother’s kitchenette to a Harlem afternoon to the Grim Reaper and back again.”
Band Members will include Brian Whitted on piano, Michael T. on bass, and DeWitt Fleming, Jr. on drums.
