Matthew Morrison to Release New CD on Adam Levine’s 222 Records

Broadway and television star Matthew Morrison will release his second CD later this year on the newly announced 222 Records, which has been formed by Maroon 5 lead singer and The Voice judge Adam Levine, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Morrison appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, The Light in the Piazza, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, South Pacific, and A Naked Girl on the Appian Way. He is scheduled to appear next month in the Los Angeles all-star reading of Dustin Lance Black’s 8.

He is well known for his role as Will Scheuster on FOX’s Glee and will soon appear on the big screen in What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Morrison released a self-titled album via Mercury Records in May 2011 and appeared in concerts throughout the country last summer.
