Based on the hit film of the same name, the show features music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and a book by Bruce Joel Rubin. Set in modern day New York City, the musical tells the story of a man who is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and who is trying to communicate with his girlfriend through a phony psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.
In related news, cast and creative team members for the musical -- including Rubin, who won an Academy Award for his screenplay -- will participate in a Q&A following a screening of the Ghost film at Clearview's Chelsea Cinema (260 West 23rd Street) on Monday, February 13 at 6:30pm.
As previously reported, the Broadway cast will be led by Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat) and Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen) -- both of whom are reprising their roles from the London staging -- along with Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown) and Bryce Pinkham (Carl Bruner).
