Ghost the Musical Cast Recording to Be Streamed for Free During Valentine’s Day Event

The London original cast recording for Ghost the Musical will be streamed for free on Facebook from Monday, February 13 at Noon ET through Wednesday, February 15 at Noon ET at www.Facebook.com/GhostBroadway. This special online Valentine’s Day event is being presented in conjunction with Ghost the Musical‘s upcoming Broadway premiere at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, beginning March 15, with an opening on April 23.

Based on the hit film of the same name, the show features music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and a book by Bruce Joel Rubin. Set in modern day New York City, the musical tells the story of a man who is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next and who is trying to communicate with his girlfriend through a phony psychic in the hope of saving her from his murderer.

In related news, cast and creative team members for the musical — including Rubin, who won an Academy Award for his screenplay — will participate in a Q&A following a screening of the Ghost film at Clearview’s Chelsea Cinema (260 West 23rd Street) on Monday, February 13 at 6:30pm.

As previously reported, the Broadway cast will be led by Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat) and Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen) — both of whom are reprising their roles from the London staging — along with Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown) and Bryce Pinkham (Carl Bruner).
