Doris Roberts to Star in Counter Culture PIlot

Broadway veteran and Emmy Award winner Doris Roberts will co-star in the television pilot, Counter Culture, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series, to be written by Stephanie Weir, centers on three elderly sisters who run a West Texas diner.
Roberts appeared on Broadway in such shows as Cheaters and The Last of the Red Hot Lovers. She received five Emmy Awards for her work on CBS’ hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.
