Darrell Hammond, Shirley Knight, David Margulies, Austin Pendleton Set for Benefit Reading of Hamlet
Frog and Peach Theatre Co., Inc. will present a star-studded benefit reading of Shakespeare’s Hamlet at The Player’s Club on Tuesday, February 21 at 7:30pm. Lynnea Benson will direct.
The cast will include Anna Chlumsky as Ophelia, Darrell Hammond as Guildenstern, Shirley Knight as Gertrude, David Margulies as Polonius and Gravedigger, Austin Pendleton as Claudius and the Ghost, Fred Willard as Horatio, Ryan Tramont as Laertes, and Ted Zurkowski as Hamlet.
The cast will also include Lenny Ciotti (Osric), Erick Gonzalez (Fortinbras), Ross Beshear (Rosencrantz), and Alan Altschuler (The Player). Music is composed and performed live by Ian McDonald.
The Gala will benefit Frog and Peach Theatre Company’s upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to be presented April 26-May 20, at The West End Theatre.
