Daniel Evans, Josie Lawrence, Jenny Jules, Jonathan Pryce, Jenna Russell, Samantha Spiro and Meera Syal will be among the performers for Almeida Up Close, the theatre's 2012 fundraising gala. Jan Ravens will host the event, which will take place at One Mayfair on February 23.

The gala will also feature performances from Young Friends of the Almeida and award-winning theatre company Inspector Sands. Indhu Rubasingham will direct this evening of fine dining and cabaret, which promises music from such varied sources as Stephen Sondheim and Amy Winehouse.
