Crystal Skillman’s Sex and Death in London Set for Rising Phoenix Rep’s Cino Nights

Rising Phoenix Repertory will present Crystal Skillman’s Sex and Death in London on February 12 at 7pm as the fifteenth play in its year-and-a-half-long Cino Nights series of world-premieres. Michael Padden directs the production, performed, according to press notes, “warts and all,” at the Seventh Street Small Stage, in the basement space of Jimmy’s No. 43 restaurant.

Set in a South London pub that two girls have broken into during the 2011 riots, Sex and Death in London will feature Shyko Amos, Megan Hill, Nathan Hinton and James Leighton.

Rising Phoenix Rep artistic director Daniel Talbott curates the series, which, in the coming months, will feature plays by Jonathan Blitstein, Brooke Berman, Cusi Cram and others.
