Buran Theatre Company to Present The House of Fitzcarraldo at The Brick

The House of Fitzcarraldo, written and performed by Buran Theatre Company, will play The Brick in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, March 7-17. Nikolas Weir will direct.
In this highly theatrical performance work, the performers, taking on the role of the Collective Ego of Herzog & Kinski, ponder the significance of dreams and the insanity one must invest in pursuing the useless conquest of unconscious wishes.
The cast will feature Henry Bial, Adam R. Burnett, Jud Knudsen, Hilary Kelman, Christopher Luxem, Geraldo Mercado, and Casey Mraz.
The creative team will include Nick Kostner (scenic and lighting design), Christopher Luxem & Casey Mraz (music), and Henry Bial & Adam R. Burnett (lyrics).
