Brian Charles Johnson, Chase Peacock Join Fire Without A Spark Concert

Brian Charles Johnson and Chase Peacock will join the previously reported Emma Hunton and Andy Mientus as they perform Fire Without A Spark: Emma and Andy Cover Springsteen, a one-night-only concert at Mercury Lounge, February 27.

Johnson and Peacock’s hip hop/R&B group Fran Sancisco, and will open the show at 7:30 p.m. Fire Without A Spark will begin at 8:30pm

Backed by a four-piece band made up of Damien Bassman (drums), Rick Ippolito (bass), Eli Zoller (guitar), and Zoe Sarnak (piano/guitar), Hunton and Mienus will bring their unique sound to Springsteen favorites for a night of working class heroism and untamed Americana.

Johnson and Peacock have been seen on Broadway in American Idiot. Hunton is currently playing Maureen in Rent Off-Broadway and has appeared in productions of Les Miserables, Spring Awakening, Next to Normal and more. Mientus is currently featured in MCC Theatre’s production of Carrie, and is the recipient of two NYMF Outstanding Individual Performance Awards. The concert is produced by Rob Intile, Jr and Ashley Mas.
