Barbra Streisand Re-Signs with Columbia Records, to Release DVD Set

Barbra Streisand has re-signed with Columbia Records, which will release a 12 set DVD, containing never before seen footage directly from Streisand’s archives, as well as milestones from her illustrious career.

The singer and actress will soon be celebrating her 50th anniversary with the label, which released her first album, The Barbra Streisand Album in 1963. Her most recent release from Columbia is her 2012 Grammy nominated, What Matters Most- Barbra Streisand sings the lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman.

Streisand appeared on Broadway in I Can Get It For You Wholesale and Funny Girl. Her films include Funny Girl, Funny Lady, Yentl, and Nuts. She has won the Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy Awards, a special Tony Award, and is a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honor.
