The Actors Studio presented an encore performance of its production of Eugene O’Neill’s Anna Christie as a special benefit for The Actors Fund on Monday, February 7.

Wilson Milam directed the production, which starred Angelica Torn in the title role. The cast also featured Larry Block, David Dempsey, Timothy Doyle, and Denise Lute. The play tells the story of a former prostitute who falls in love, but runs into difficulty in turning her life around.

Among the celebrity guests were actors Federico Castelluccio, Al Pacino, and Torn’s father, Rip Torn.

In related news, Angelica Torn has also announced she is planning to shoot a film version of Anna Christie, in which she will star along with her father, later this year.
