Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge performed in concert at Birdland on Monday, February 7.

The evening included songs from Hodge’s two albums, Nightbus and Cowley Road Songs, as well as a preview of music he has written for the new musical, Meantime. Hodge was joined by musical director Sonny Paladino and a four-piece band.

Hodge won Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle awards for his performance as Albin in La Cage Aux Folles, which he continues to play on Broadway through February 13.

Among the guests at the performance were Tony Award winner and 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski and Hodge’s castmates from La Cage Aux Folles, Christine Andreas and Terry Lavell.
