The musical's book is written by Chris D'Arenzio. Kristin Hanggi has directed the production, which features choreography by Kelly Devine. The show played its final performance at the Brooks Atkinson on January 9.
Rock of Ages focuses on a young rocker hungry for his big break and a small town girl who meet in 1987 at a legendary Hollywood club facing its imminent demise. The score includes the hit songs of iconic rockers like REO Speedwagon, as well as Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Whitesnake, and many more.
The production features scenic design is by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Gregory Gale, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design is by Peter Hylenski, and projection design by Zachary Borovay.
