Laura Benanti, Montego Glover, Audra McDonald, Vanessa Redgrave, et al. Set to Honor Patti LuPone at Drama League Benefit Gala

Updated casting has been announced for the Drama League’s A Musical Celebration of Broadway, to be held on Monday, February 7 at the Pierre Hotel. As previously reported, the event will honor Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone.

The gala, to be directed by Tony Award winner Cady Huffman and Roger T. Danforth, will feature appearances and performances from Vanessa Redgrave, Audra McDonald, Montego Glover, Daniel Reichard, Ann Hampton Callaway, Liz Callaway, Scott Wittman & Marc Shaiman, Laura Benanti, Boyd Gaines, Christopher Sieber, Nick Adams, Will Chase, Chad Kimball, Emily Skinner, Justin Guarini, and James Monroe Iglehart.

LuPone most recently starred on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. She has won Tony Awards for her performances in Gypsy and Evita. Among her many other Broadway credits are The Robber Bridegroom, Master Class, Anything Goes, The Old Neighborhood, and Sweeney Todd.

The gala event will raise funds for the League’s Directors Project.
