Jeremy Irons to Return to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

Tony and Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons will return to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on March 30, according to TVGuide.com.

Irons will reprise his role from earlier this season as Cap Jackson, a famous sex therapist. Emmy Award nominee Elizabeth Mitchell will also guest star in the new episode.

The actor’s many stage credits include The Real Thing, for which he won the Tony Award, The Winter’s Tale, Richard II, Never So Good, Embers, Impressionism, and A Little Night Music.

Irons won an Academy Award for his performance in Reversal of Fortune and the Emmy Award for Elizabeth I. His many other film and television credits include Being Julia, Appaloosa, The Merchant of Venice, and Brideshead Revisited.
