Itzhak Perlman Concert Replaces NY Philharmonic’s Previously Announced Henry V: A Shakespeare Scenario
Violinist Itzhak Perlman will perform music from Vienna and Hollywood with the New York Philharmonic on April 11 at 7:30pm at Avery Fisher Hall. Alan Gilbert will conduct the performance.
The event replaces the previously announced Henry V: A Shakespeare Scenario, which was to have been narrated by Christopher Plummer. As previously reported, this event has been postponed because of a change in Plummer’s availability as he films Barrymore.
The repertoire for Mr. Perlman’s program will be announced shortly as will a new concert date for Henry V: A Shakespeare Scenario.
